Black on Black Films
A graduate of Concordia University's School of Cinema, Stefan Verna works in the Quebec film industry as a director, cinematographer, and screenwriter. His work spans several genres, including documentary, fiction, dance videos, and music videos.
He uses cinema as a tool for social transformation, addressing issues such as social justice, environmental concerns, and the realities of Afro-descendant communities worldwide. His interest in hip-hop culture, Black cinema, and dance also informs his work. Since 2016, he has been a co-founder of Black on Black Films.
